Biography
Amy is a second year master's student in atmospheric sciences at UND. She received her Bachelor's of Science in Meteorology from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln in 2025 with a minor in Mathematics. She is researching supercell merger events using satellite data and atmospheric soundings with Drs. M. Brown and A. Kennedy.
Amy has served as a Graduate Teaching Assistant for ATSC 110 (Meteorology I), ATSC 210 (Introduction to Synoptic Meteorology), and ATSC 411 (Synoptic Meteorology). She is also serving as a head TA for ATSC 110 for Fall 2026.
Amy has received two NASA fellowships from the North Dakota Space Grant Consortium in her research on supercell merger events.
